fantastic watch
this is by far the best sports watch model i've owned-- it's been 7 years now, and i don't plan on using a different model anytime soon.

This is by far the best watch I've ever owned; I've run MANY miles with this watch on my wrist & it has yet to let me down...The wristband will go first...this watch can take a beating!!!

Nice & Slim
This watch has all of the fuctionality that I need and is very slim. I hate those watches that sit tall on your wrist and look like they were designed to contact Mars or something. Not this one!

Only a nuclear bomb blast will stop this watch.....
I love this watch! It's utterly indestructible. I especially like the band that is integrated into the watch face, giving it a soft-bracelet quality that is exceptionally comfortable. The watch is also the thinnest I've seen in an action watch. You don't realize you're wearing it, so you can focus on your workout. Timex made this watch in orange and blue too (I own both). Based on my research, only black remains (or at least black is the easiest to find). Timex rules!

This is the best Timex Ironman watch I've ever had - out of four. Its very light, perdorms excellently, and has no significant protrusions which my last Timex had, and which incidently bumped into a wooden protrusion and was no longer to remain on my wrist.

So, yes this current Timex is great; on that level. As far as the operation, well every Timex Ironman I ever had was great on performance.

My husband had bought this watch for me at a department store and I loved it. Until... I accidentally dropped it in the garbage disposal. When the department store did not have it in stock after several tries, I decided to check Amazon. I love Amazon:) The watch arrived in two days and I was thrilled except that the one pictured and the one we had bought at the department store has black antique on the band and the one I got through Amazon does not. The band is just silver; no black. It is still an attractive watch but the other was prettier. I contacted Fossil and they said they must have quit manufacturing it that way and offered a refund. I will probably go to the hobby store and see what I can find to add the black myself.

Timex Easy Reader Watch 24611
I LOVE my watch! I had a fancy women's watch that I could not see to read the time. I thought this one was a women's watch; however, I love it because I can actually see the time AND the day and date. It is large and I was going to return it, but it is very classy looking and I love-love-love it. AND, I can even see the time when I wke up at night - the backlight is great and I can see the time when it's pitch black too.

Readability
I'm getting a little long in the tooth and I find it's larger dial and day date feature easy to see without glasses.

Very nice watch. I did not realize how large it was however and I have a very small wrist. It would be helpful to have a size scale on the web site.
